Pop Jedi is back after visiting the hostile planet LV-426 with their Aliens 35th anniversary celebration! The crew is devoting two weeks to one of the most popular female characters in comic-dom with an in-depth look at Harley Quinn.

The unhinged anti-hero's history and origins are explored in this episode, and next week, they follow it up with a review of James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, which lands in theaters this Friday.

Harley Quinn was first introduced to the world in Batman The Animated Series in 1992. As the Joker's abused and devoted right-hand, Harley became an instant icon. She came into her own when she was introduced on the page as a former psychiatrist turned brilliant, but mad, villainess, and has dominated television, animated films, and video games ever since.

The character was taken to the next level when Margot Robbie stepped into the live-action role in 2016's Suicide Squad, her spin-off solo film Birds of Prey (originally titled Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), and now James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

Join hosts Rob DiLauro, JennaSayWhat, and Di Marie when they honor and psychoanalyze the history of one Harley Quinn in episode 24 (included below).

Join the Pop Jedi crew next week as they analyze Harley Quinn and join the battlefield with The Suicide Squad! New half hour Pop Jedi videos land every Tuesday on the official CBM YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/comicbookmovie), so hit the subscribe button and notification/alert bell so that you don't miss an episode!

Harley Quinn is one of the best female characters,Tara Strong did a great job bringing the character to life and is still the best version of Harley.

Margot Robbie was good in Suicide Squad but terrible in Birds Of Prey.

She looks like she is back on form in The Suicide Squad.

I'm guessing Robbie has taken some inspiration form it with her Harley too, but I really like the Injustice 2 Harley. Still annoying, but in a likeable way.

@bkmeijer - She is good in the Arkham games.

@marvel72 - that Arkham Knight mission of hers was pretty cool, but that was also because of the backstory and maybe less because of her

If I had any clue who or what PopJedi was I might feel inclined to listen to them. 🤨

Feel like they have zero presence on this site. Not an insult but they aren’t involved with the community aspect at all.
