So why does the EMPIRE Executive Editor say in his article where he actually interviews Zach Snyder that it's around 2 hours 10 minutes?

@Irons That should have never been taken as confirmation. Zack Snyder just gave a rough idea of what the runtime would be.

zach's 2:10 estimate might have been his estimate of "story time"... the 2:23 may be the update now that title and/or credits sequence is completed.

@marvelpsycho79 if the track listing on the soundtrack is any indication, you may be disappointed. but i feel like it'll be ok if it's set up as "we learn about it as clark learns about it." if they just jump around at random times, i agree it'll be annoying.

Nice! Perfect runtime, the first 30-45 minutes should be about Clark growing up and the rest should be Superman! :P

[frick] it, I'm going just for the cinematography alone. Snyder knows where to hit my G(Geek)-Spot and it's with those extraordinary shots. The one in the tv spot, as that Kryptonian fluffs their cape, back facing the camera, it's beautiful. Sucker Punch may have sucked story wise (I actually adore the plot), but as a film, it's beautiful. The anime scene (Babydoll, sword out in hand, one knee on the ground, crouched, bangs flowing in the air) is so iconic. Not a Superman fan, but I can't wait for this.

Just the right ammount of time. Anyone else notice that its pretty much the sane run time of Batman Begins? I know its no big deal but since they're both written by Christopher Nolan and David Goyer and they're both origin stories.

Fleshing out the Krypton story, growing up into bearded Clark story, then.... Superman. Good run time.
