It is unknown which direction Zack Snyder will take the latest Superman film... but one thing is for sure. If there is a Lex Luthor role written in, a relatively unknown Dominic Pace would be perfect.

Dominic Pace was raised in Ossining, New York. Pace studied with members of the Actors' Studio, as well as entering William Esper's two year program, before he left for Los Angeles to pursue his career. In 2002, Pace began his professional career receiving numerous Co-Star/Guest Star roles on many popular television shows.

He was awarded Best Actor in 2004 at the Palm Beach International Film Festival, for his performance in the indie feature, Little Kings.
A tremendous range, Pace has slowly begun building his career as a strong Character Actor.

He currently resides in New York, but his main home is in Los Angeles.
Pace is repped by Brianna Barcus and Jamie Harris of Clear Talent Group. His manager is Budd Burton Moss.


LEEE777 - Well he certainly looks the part, but I'm seeing small screen if anything, I personally think we need star power for Lex like such actors as Viggo Mortensen or even Daniel Day-Lewis. Then again DDL would probably never take a role such as this, maybe Dominic Pace could be the one, maybe?

Hmm... interesting choice. I'd have to see his acting before I say yay or nay, but he certainly does bear a damn good striking resemblance.

You gotta have Lex, he doesn't have to be a direct threat, maybe the corrupt business man he should be, hiring supervillains and doing messed up experiments to try to find a means to destroy Superman. Kinda like the animated series and mainstream comic version.

I also think we need to see a name as Lex. In fact, I think an important part of creating the dichotomy between Lex and Supes is having an unknown actor as Supes and a major actor as Lex. Daniel-Day Lewis is by far the best, if perhaps least likely choice. Someone on here suggested Tom Cruise earlier today (there were like three fan casts for this movie today), and I think he'd be a good choice too, because he's a huge star who can project the intensity needed for Lex.

Too big? Nonsense. Lex is only an inch or two shorter than Supes, and he's a man in peak physical condition. I can totally see this guy playing President Luthor. If that doesn't work out for him, he should just bulk up a little more and wait for Marvel to make another movie featuring Wilson 'The Kingpin' Fisk.

Nope, no unknowns for such a weighty role!
I've seen this guy, he overacts a lot!

It calls for someone with some acting
gravity to play the Megalomaniac Billionaire
Lex Luthor.

Viggo's good but my choice is PAUL BETTANY!

Plus Lex needs to be only a supporting
character this time! Bring in a heavy-hitter,
literally, for this battle royale'!

@leee i dont know about viggo mortensen for lex, i always pictured him as Dr Strange...

Iv always like the idea of Billy Zane as lex, he looks physically domineering and his voice is very similar to that of the guy in public enemies. for me he is a more belivable Lex....dont just judge him on the phantom as we all know that was shit...if youve seen him in Deadcalm you'll know what i mean.lol

I really dont want lex to have much of a role in the next superman movie, we need some super powered badasses kicking supermans teeth in!

Lex shouldn`y have a main role in this movie.... it should set it up his character for the sequals with him as the main villian... but if he is in this... I`d have to say Viggo would be my pick.

I'd have no problem with seeing Kevin Spacey again. He should only try to do more of a new/Heath Ledger like version than trying to do the amazing Hackman version.

I still like Zane for Luthor. However, DDL would be great.
I also think Ralph Fiennes would be a good Lex.

Quick, someone start a facebook page for DDL for Luthor.

As far as we can all assume for now, Luthor might only be a bit part anyway. Despite that, DDL would be great and would definetely bolster the acting cred for the movie - especially if an unknown is indeed chosen for the role of Supes. We have no idea exactly how good that Superman actor would be. So an actor as good as DDL and even Paul Bettany would so be the yang to Supermans ying.

Now, I am really liking Armie Hammer for Superman. Yeah, I know he is a blonde, but I think he would look good with jet black hair. And although I have not seen The Social Network, I have heard really good things about the intensity that Hammer brought to the role he played in that movie.

DDD and Leee@ - can you see Armie as Superman/Clark Kent?

BTW - Superman is tall, broad-shouldered and squared-jawed and any actor really needs to match these criteria. So, unfortunately, as much as I like Matt Bomer, I REALLY don't think he would be believable as The Man of Steel.

Haha, funny how EVERYONE ripped into me (well most) about Hammer as a young WWII Captain America, 6 @ True Hammer is a quality actor, he could make quite a nice young SUPES!

Though it is true... HAM could play half the DC UNIVERSE from J'onn J'onzz, to Oliver Queen, to the guy in Metal Men and Marvels REED RICHARDS, or Human HANK McCOY plus many more, HAMM's a quality actor, anyone that disagrees should watch 'Mad Men!'

I had an idea for The Flash / Wally West role:
Zachery Levi for Wally West.
In the beginning of the Chuck series, he started out as geeky and clumsy but now he seems like a NATURAL at all the action and fighting scenes Chuck is involved in.
All he has got to do is swap the geekiness for cocky, implusive and sarcastic and you have got Wally West.
