I think its a good trailer but I dont think they should hire welling because if so the general audience (the people needed to turn a profit) would think its a smallvile movie and would think to go back an have to re-watch several seasons of a show the general audiences dont seem to like for certain reasons. I think they should hire an unknown.

love smallville....no welling superman tho. great trailer the first part with Pa Kent and Clark was great...should deffinetly be in the reboot

Wow, I didn't know it was good enough to get on here. Thanks a lot Ed, I'm really glad you like my videos. It means a lot.

And BTW, to anyone who thinks this is a promotion or something to get Welling to be in the Superman Reboot, it's not. It's basically just a Teaser for like a "Smallville" movie I'm putting together, but since they're is VERY limited footage of him in any supersuit, I had to take clips from Superman Returns and use them for the Teaser, since we won't see him in it for the finale.

I love Smallville and I have seen every episode ever sonce it started in 2001 but I ca't really put my hands around Welling playing as Superman on the big screen. Welling has the look and he is a decent actor but I just can't see it.

I'm not a Smallville h8r by any means... and thought WELLING did a good Clark Kent in the early seasons, but he can't play superhero, carboard boy proves that every week now!

I've watched SMALLIVILLE since the very start and now I cringe most of the time how downhill its become, a really perfect show turned into what it is today...

...and don't think I have any pleasure saying that, I want it to be good, no great again, but it don't look like its ever going to happen!?

I will not say Welling is a great actor (pay attention Lee). But...his performance in the recent Luthor episode showed a much better acting range than anything Routh has ever given us. That's not saying a lot, but it is what it is. Routh was pathetic as Superman. Not bad on the trailer btw.

Great trailer bud. Welling definetly deserves a shot a Supes, Hes redifined clark kent and I would love to see a movie with his new and more modern clark and i think he would do a great job at portraying the Man of Steel

Why are people sayin the early episodes are the best!!

ok right obvi from my name im LOVE smallville but in the early seasonsit was more like
-a drama with a crappy school kid villian every week
-it had WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much clark and lana on and off moments,they bored me to shit
-most episodes wer the same,and you got alot of stupid fillers with like lana lois and chloe being witches
-the whole lana being possessed by a witch and then had something to do with kyrptonians and lana just happend to be in love with a kryptonian *clark*

just those few things are the things tht nagged me about the early seasons,so thts why i dnt understand when people say smallville has gone down hill,when i think its gotten better and less ONE TREE HILL with super heros

Tom Welling is awesome. Trailer was awesome.

TW was great in the "Luthor" episode as Ultraman. He CAN act, guys.
