I love how in a book entitled "Superman the Golden Age" they admitted that Superman inspired Stan Lee for certain aspects of Spider-Man. For instance- their theme colors and their jobs as nerds at newspapers- (Daily Planet vs. Daily Bugle)

Superman- the first and greatest superhero.

Yes I agree, 2 of the best in Comic history. Since my younger days Mr Reeves has thought me to love the character, all hail DC Comics but enuff respect to Marvel as well.

How awesome would it be for at least a year, DC and Marvel combined their characters and the whole universe for that matter. How many amazing stories and team-ups would come out of that??? But I know that's never gonna happen again because of stupid Disney buying out Marvel. Those times have past. SAD.... VERY, VERY, VERY SAD. : (

I like the idea of a straight swap more.

Like - Marvel do Superman for a year, while DC gets to do Spidey.

No other crossing over, just Superman in the MU (where Spidey's gone missing) and Spidey in the DCU (ditto for Supes).

I'd like to see that. Never happen, but if we're talking out of the box...

How about a X-men vs Justice League:
Shazam vs Colosus
Batman vs Wolverine
Wonder Woman vs Rogue
Flash vs Nightcrawler
Green Lantern vs Cyclops
Hawkman vs Archangel
Vixen vs Storm
Nightwing vs Gambit
Black Canary vs Banshee
Martian Manhunter vs Professor X
The Justice League and the X-men (after fighting) are looking for Superman and The Gladiator(from the Imperial Guard). The were taken for an intergalactic Fight club. LOL AWESOME. ; )

Gladiator is the Marvel version of Superman. That;s why they are so similar.
