Nope. I wanted to give it a chance but I think with everything they have shown thus far they have no grasp of three parts of the TMNT name.

[frick] the haters. These Bay TMNT look bad ass. Especially my boy Raphael. Excellent poster. So pumped !!! Movie is going to be a fun ride. Brings me back to childhood, being 5 years old waiting on that movie to come out.

RangerStorm44,

Noticed you're a big Raph fan too. I didn't mind the sunglasses, afterall "cool, but rude" ... but I was secretly hoping they'd lose them. I wonder if they're got rid of Raph's sunglasses for good going forward? I notice they've changed small things. They gave Mikey a pair of white sunglasses, and they changed his brand of sneaks from being Nike to Fila on this final poster.

This is the best poster so far but now that I've got a decent look at them, the faces on the turtles are awful.

Seriously, Leonardo looks worse on the poster than he did in the trailer.
Like he put on weight or something.

I'm not feelin' this.

I think out of all three that have been revealed, Raph is the only one who looks like a true ninja turtle

Don't get me wrong, they obviously look like ninja turtles, but Raph is the only one who looks anything close to resembling the original turtles. I'm digging all these designs though.

@DawnOfJustice

No incarnation has looked even close to the ORIGINAL, all red bandana, Eastman and Laird TMNT. You're arguing semantics. The point is, the essence of the TMNT is there. All they did was update it for a 2014 audience, and very importantly ... and ballsy, put their own artistic spin on it.

They added clothes to fit their individual personalities, armor, and that's about it. Oh, added realism of nostrils. Which real turtles have. And humanoid lips for the audio synch to make sense, more expression from the actors to help relate to the turtles in a visually believable way.

Think about it, all the stupid beef people have with their new outfits. Did people put up that kind of stink when they gave them their own unique colored bandanas.

I love the OG 1990 film, a slept on all-time great comic book film but at the end of the day they look like muppets. Do they all breath through their Sesame Street muppet like mouths? They mutate into humanoid structure, musculatures. So why can't they have lips?

Evolution is how these properties stay relevant, and modern mythology. I love the increased size, strength, for a new "Avengers" golden era of comic book films audiences have come to expect. It ramps up their martial art skills to crazy levels. Excellent action scene potential.

These designs are bad ass. People will come around eventually. Even with the lips, they look beak like still. Which is a nice touch.

@FaptainMerica - Well stated! Extremely rare to find basic common sense on this site, even more rare to find someone with a perspective unbridled from the perspectives they had a child.

It seems every nerd with a moan about the look of these characters think they were created for their generation and so has to be updated to suit their approval. The majority of those misguided enough to think that have no idea the versions they grew up with were Disney-fied and marketed to them from the original comics that were a completely different and more violent bunch of TMNT.

Let them moan, the movie is gonna still be a hit and a bigger one than Guardians of the Galaxy by a mile!

lol Dude. You're still taking everything I say about this film way too seriously. I think the film should be fun, I'll see it on the first day and probably in 3D.

But until then, I'm going to have some fun at the size of these big ass Turtles.
