THE FLASH: More Set Photos Give Us A Much Better Look At The Dark Knight & His New Batcycle

Another batch of photos from the Glasgow set of The Flash have been shared online, and this time we have a much better look at Ben Affleck's (though it's probably not him in the suit) take on Batman.

Earlier today, we got a first glimpse of Ben Affleck's version of Batman (though it was almost certainly a stand-in) on the Glasgow, Scotland set of The Flash, and these latest photos provide a much better look at the iconic DC Comics hero.

As you can see, these snaps allow for a more detailed examination of The Dark Knight's updated suit and his newly-designed Batcycle, both of which appear to have received a few tweaks/upgrades for this movie.

Fans have been wondering whether Affleck's Bruce Wayne would have a significant role to play ever since rumors that Michael Keaton's Batman '89 would take over as the DCEU's main Caped Crusader (that still hasn't been confirmed), and Director Andrés Muschietti recently confirmed that he will be "a very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie," especially as it relates to his relationship with Barry Allen (Ezra Miller).

"It's Barry's movie, it's Barry's story," he added. "But their characters are more related than we think. They both lost their mothers to murder, and that's one of the emotional vessels of the movie. That's where the Affleck Batman kicks in."

Christina Hodson wrote the The Flash's script, with Michael Disco and Marianne Jenkins on board as executive producers. Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to be at least partially influenced by the Flashpoint comic book arc.

In addition to Miller, Keaton and Affleck, Kiersey Clemons will reprise the role of Iris West,, and Sasha Calle will make her debut as Supergirl. Zack Snyder's Justice League star Ray Fisher recently indicated that there was still a chance he could appear as Cyborg, but we seriously doubt that happens at this stage

The Flash is scheduled to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.
