For me, Wells is the heart of this show. I know that's backwards, but I'm thinking ahead to season 2 and wondering how in the hell I will be as attached to this show without Cavenaugh's interactions with every single character. He was phenomenal and IF his character departs, I'm hoping the writers and producers have a solid plan to fill that void.

@maxx, but if Barry changes the past then the real Dr. Wells may very well be alive allowing Cavanaugh to remain in the series for season 2.

He's listening to Joe about going back to change the past??!!?? Come on!!! Barry Allen would never ever do that.

Its gonna be so good. I think they will leave off with a cliff hanger that will set up him trying to re-change the changes he's made from going back to the past.

Now I can catch up on the Arrow seasons I missed so I can accurately bitch about how bad its been.

I am so excited for this finale and The Legends of Tomorrow will make their first appearance together on it. I also really hope that Ronnie doesn't die and Jay Jackson ends up being an alternate universe Cyborg, Wally West, or someone else.

You know, if Barry stops the Reverse Flash at his house in the past, that means that the Real Harrison Wells and his hot fiance can be in season 2.

I never read any Flash comic book.

does anybody know IF the show is faithful to the comic ?

I ask this because I have not seen this show (neither AoS) but the good reviews about it got me curious, therefore I want to start watching it on hulu.

Here are the two possibilities:
1- Barry goes back, doesn't stop his mom from dying, but she tells him not to change anything, that things need to stay how they are. So he goes back to the present day and nothing changes.

2- Barry goes back i time, stops his mom from being killed and kills the original RF. This causes Barry to blink out of existence, which leads everything taking place how it should have before RF went back to kill Barry's mom. Season 2 would be the "alternate" timeline where the real Wells creates the reactor giving Barry his powers at a later time like he was supposed to. This also leads to Barry and Iris being together.

Flashpoint Paradox?
tugboy
tugboy - 5/15/2015, 1:02 PM
They are setting it up to be just like Flashpoint. A few episodes ago, Gideon told Barry that the Flash was the founding member of the Justice League, just like in Flashpoint. So Barry goes back in time, stops his mom's murder, never becomes the Flash, and then there is no Justice League. And because of that there is a huge cataclysmic event that the Justice League does not prevent, and the whole world becomes a horrible place. And Batman's dad becomes Batman because Bruce is murdered as a kid (on the show they will likely replace this with Oliver and Oliver's dad becoming Arrow). So when Barry comes to in this new timeline, he has no powers but sort of remembers some stuff from the past, has to get his powers back and go back in time to prevent himself from stopping his mom's murder. The one thing I can't remember is, why does Eobard kill Barry's mom in the first place? What are his original motivations? I forget all that. But it seems to be going similar to the animated Flashpoint movie DC made a few years ago.

Also Sunday is the last episode of Mad Men. Will Don Draper get his dick wet one last time?

Or will he get fired and cry about living a lie?

Find out next time on Dragonball something or other.

The red suit with the white symbol belongs to the future Flash, the one shown on the 2024 newspaper front page. When he's talking to Wells before running back and time, and talking to his dying mom, he has the original suit. Question is "he's fading out of existence". Does that refer to Eobard? And we see future Flash fading as well. So cool.

What if Barry stops his mothers death and sets up Season Two as FlashPoint (also setting up Legends) I really want more Harrison Wells/Eobard Thawne.

It is truly amazing how many women Don Draper slept with over the course of the entire series of Mad Men.
I wonder if he ever caught something.

Oh yeah, the Flash. Uhh looks good. I guess.
I hope they have the stones the keep Cavanagh/Wells off the regular cast for season 2. He's great, but I'd love to see a change in the status quo.
