The four-hour mini series from Muse Entertainment and RHI Entertainment, will premiering on June 20 Sunday, beginning at 7:00/6:00c.

The Phantom stars Ryan Carnes as a re-imagining of Lee Falk's purple superhero crime fighter for today. Paolo Barzman helmed the production, and it was written by Daniel and Charles Knauf. The show also stars Cameron Goodman, Isabella Rossellini and Sandrine Holt.

LEEE777 - The Phantom has had many different comic book companies through the years and recently its been Marvel comics, DC and now Moonstone. Still not to sure about this re-imagining at the moment, it does look Power Rangerish. Fingers crossed if it does make a series we get the more traditional Phantom look than this re-imagined one! Oh, and if this can get a series why not The Punisher etc? Anyway comments below as always!

This is not the Phantom. They should stick with the basics just like Ironman and Batman. This looks like a dvd that would be on sale at Walgreens for $4.99 LOL

I think HBO should consider doing a "Shadow" tv mini series. I think it will be amazing. Or Grendel-The Hunter Rose Chronicles. Something new fresh and really violent. "Hahahahaha the Shadow knows...Hahahahaha"

A BBC made 'Hellblazer/Constantin '' t.v show would awesome in the way they made hard hitting play for the day dramas back in the 70's/80's hollywood can't handle it.

I've seen this already, if you wanna watch it try this to find a good link http://www.movies-links.tv/movies/the_phantom_2010/ its decent, not really a reimagining, he plays Kit Walkers son, Kit Jr., it feels really rushed when you watch it though, theres alot of cheesy moments at the beginning, some of the acting improves as it goes on, but I still prefer the Billy Zane movie, haha!

It was already featured on cable TV in Argentina!! I saw it and was cool. I'm not a big fan of the character, but it works good. I hope it becomes a series, all the seeds were seeded, but I think that would work beter on regular basis DVDs or TV movies. Like Stargate.

I'm with DDD. I'd love to see the real suit and the real Ghost Who Walks. I wouldn't compare the show to doo-doo though! Remember, doo-doo is a byproduct of something useful (food), and is itself a useful tool for disposal of waste. It serves a purpose in the world. Not a very pleasant purpose, perhaps, but a purpose, nonetheless. This show serves no useful purpose. A comparison of this show to doo-doo is an insult to the doo-doo!

Shows like this "re-imagination" (which is properly defined as taking an established character and ruining everything that is cool and/or interesting about him/her/it") are how the Syphilis Channel got its nickname. Sad, because the network was itself useful in its early days, resurrecting long-unseen sci-fi TV series for a new generation to discover. I used to enjoy it then.
