It's been a pretty good run for Kenneth Branagh and Marvel's comic book adaptation THOR. It has received positive reviews, the cast was great, direction, cinematography, visual effects, everything was good. One big thing fans wanted is for the film to have a longer running time. Some characters deserved more screen time, so hopefully we will see all that in the sequel. And as of yesterday, THOR has passed a $400 million mark. So, here is a chance to cast your vote on what did you think about latest Marvel big screen adaptation.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba, Natalie Portmanm, Stellan Skarsgård, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson and Colm Feore, THOR is still playing in theatres worldwide.

It's #5 on my top CBMs of all time (behind The Dark Knight, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and Batman Begins). It was absolutely fantastic.

It was good but I really expected more. It disappointed me sometimes, I just expected more from it. It was too fast. Not enough transformation with Jane. But regardless, Thor is one of the best comicbookmovies this year, no doubt.

A good and decent cbm with it's faults. I hope they can get the sequel just about perfect. I gotta agree with it having the Ironman2 essence. Kinda hyped movie.

could have been longer, and I personally think the movie would have been better off without the romance, and more Asgard. And I thought the soundtrack could have been much better, but it was a bit more....generic, I guess.

But hey, thats what I think. A good CBM, but I feel it was held back from its potential a bit to not make the universe that Marvel Studios is creating too convoluted. So its a double edged sword I guess.

I give it a 7.5 outa 10, with Spiderman and Iron Man being a 9.5.

The New Mexican town looked and felt like a set and the timing seemed to get out of whack starting after the Asguardian opening. The chemistry between Portman and hemsworth was great Imo.

I guess there's really is only so much you can fit into a 2 hr movie. Hopefully they'll take note and make part two three hours.

I LOVED IT. BUT IN THE NEXT ONE WHAT IM WANTING TO SEE IS EVEN MORE GRANDER, MORE EPIC. MAYBE SOMETHING THAT TAKE THOR THROUGH ALL THE REALMS. THIS IS A MOVIE THAT SCREAMS EPIC, YOU HAVE A VARIETY OF CREATURES, MAGIC, FLYING VALKYRIES AND REALMS SO LARGE AND UNBELIEVABLE IN SCOPE IT NUMBS THE SENSES. I THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME THOR FIND HIMSELF IN THE EARTH REALM, SO MUCH SO IT GIVES HIM THE TRUE CORE OF HIS BEING TO BE A TRUE HERO AND FUTURE KING OF ASGARD..I SAY MAYBE AS AN IDEA.LOKI WANTING REVENGE ON HIS BROTHER THOR HAS THE ENCHANTRESS ABDUCT HER FROM EARTH, AND THE ENCHANTRESS BEING JEALOUS BECAUSE SHE HAVING FEELINGS FOR THOR AND LOKI KNOWING THIS AND USING IT TO HIS ADVANTAGE MAYBE SENDING HER SOUL TRAPPED IN THE REALM OF THE DEAD UNDER HELA'S RULE. AND POSSIBLY TO SAVE HER THOR WILL HAVE TO BARGAIN WITH HELA AND FUFIL A TASK THAT SPANS ALL THE MAGICAL REALMS, FACING OFF AGAINST ALL MANNER OF BEAST WITH LOKI LURKING IN THE SHADOWS THROWING HIM DANGERS TO TRY TO MAKE HIM FAIL ON HIS QUEST TO SAVE HIS LADY LOVE...JUST AN IDEA.

Cliche, but seriously, this movie is an Instant Classic. Far and away lived up to the hype, and represented the classic comics as well.

The acting and casting was also very good, and the movie was not at all corny as someone else's Thor might have been.

Can not wait for The Avengers!

I thought Thor was a great CBM. I agree with Intruder, the soundtrack needed to be better. Thor really needed that "epic" soundtrack, IMO. The character deserves one. I agree, the fight with the Destroyer should have been longer. The effects were great except for some parts. Like when Loki lets go of Thor and falls. When he's spinning his hammer really fast it didn't look great, and some of the flying scenes looked kinda bad. But for the most part, all the acting was great. Hemsworth IS Thor. Portman was the only one I wasn't a fan of, Dennings character was kinda annoying, but I can see why they put her in this movie.

I'd give Thor an 8/10. I saw it three times in theaters. It's behind the first Iron Man movie, but leaps and bounds over Iron Man 2.

I think it's Marvel Studios best film, but not the best Marvel film. That still is Spider-Man 2.

"Thor" is an excellent CB movie. Has all you could want...lots of action, adventure, love, humor, solid acting, and excellent special effects. Hopefully, more people will see it domestically because it's a fun, rollicking movie for all ages not to be missed on the big screen.

It was Good... I think an 8/10 is fair. Like most Marvel movies, it was lacking in the action department. Not that it needed more, but it just could have been presented better. The movie didn't have much "WOW" to it at all...

I wish there was a middle ground between "AWESOME!!!!" and "Meh" I very much liked it but I wouldn't call it one of the best ever made.

Really liked it, almost loved it. Just needed a bit more ..something! Still, only just behind Iron man as the best from Marvel, but I still rank it probably 6 or 7 in greatest CBMs overall.

Thor was a difficult project to make appealing to both fans and a mainstream audience (much more than, say, Batman, Iron Man, or Daredevil), and Branagh did about as well as one could ask in that regard. I'd have to classify it as a great success.

I liked Thor, but It shouldve been longer, and the fight scene with the Destroyer shouldve been longer. It seemed rushed towards the end.
