Noice!! Looking forward to this. Also nice that the episode won't be altered color-wise, as all the flashforwards have been altered to give them a dark tone.

@TheDoctor1225 @MarvellousPORG @regularmovieguy @MrCamW1 @TMP

Just finished watching Triple Frontier and I think I feel the same way to those that I've seen commenting about it (such as TheDoctor).

The pros:
Its a very well made movie, its shot well, its directed well, there is some really nice cinematography in terms of scenery. The action, when present, is handled well too. In particular, the opening firefight is good and the 'bank' house fight is good too (I found the whole raid and 'design' of that compound to be pretty good and creative). And the use of Metallica songs really adds to the movie too, lol.

The other good part of course was the cast. Charlie Hunnam I thought was the best, and the rest were kind of around the same level of decent to me. Oscar Isaac was fine but he annoyed me a little at times, idk. Ben Affleck kind of played the same mopey depressed person he's been playing in a lot of his films, and while he portrayed his role well, I can't really say I was that big of a fan (if that makes sense). Garret Hedlund was fine, and then there's Pedro Pascal who I thought had the least charisma of those 5. There was one big shock among the cast, won't spoil it for those that haven't seen.

The cons:
The first act of the film I found pretty uninteresting outside of the opening scene. Just found that first 40 or whatever minutes of the movie slow, boring and overall not very captivating. Once they are on the ground and the mission starts, yeah the movie really picks up. There were still long stretches of the movie later on that struggled to be captivating because not much was going on.

But perhaps more importantly, I found good chunks of the movie in terms of plot to kind of be a bit dumb and unrealistic, especially in relation to the money: greed, the amount of money, and the transport of the money in particular (don't think I'm spoiling anything hear). Like its obvious how certain things will play out. And also, why would you go over the Andes? Pretty stupid. And then towards the end of the movie, there's a chase scene where one of the characters decides he doesn't want to kill anymore and is reluctant to ward off a bunch of people trying to kill them, and one of the other characters is begging him to kill the attackers; that was pretty dumb too.

Anyways, thought I'd share. I think its somewhere between a 7 to 7.5/10 for me, an alright/decent movie; not necessarily good, but not mediocre, just alright. If it wasn't for some of the pros I listed, especially how well the movie is made, then I would have put this closer to 6/10.

@HeavyMetal4Life - this movors been trending all over facebook and has people polotically attachong the other side left and right. That said I had no plans on watching it just those reasons.
However cast alone you say is solod for the most part and I can normally give a pass to a bad story if performances are solid. Though this one you now have me curious. I got Saturday and Sunday off sonill try and watch over the weekend.

Curious about what this will reveal. Maybe about the “archer” programm that they’ve been hinting at that Felicity was behind and which I am sure Diggle hinted in the last episode.

Sounds like it’ll be another week without Dante and just when Emiko sort of admitted she did kill Diaz. I am not sure if I wanna see 2040!Emiko here either...we’ll see. There would be quite the stuff to discuss.

A flashback inside of a flash-forward that is also itself a flash-forward.
