It'll probably be another few weeks or so before we get any official word regarding a Gotham renewal, but with syndication nearing, it's more likely than not that FOX will want to renew their superhero prequel series, which means there should be plenty of crazy on the way in the not so distant future.

Meanwhile, next Monday's episode will feature the Court of Owls hatching their latest plot to retain control of Gotham while Gordon will uncover more secrets about his family history. We'll also see Bruce take another step toward becoming the hero his city deserves. Then, the following week, prepare for a supervillain team-up when the Penguin and Poison Ivy recruit Mr. Freeze and Firefly

Check out twelve new promotional stills from episode sixteen, titled "These Delicate and Dark Obsessions," below:

Is this show any good? Just saw a few episodes from season 1 and thought it was awful.

Hasn't this been canceled yet?

@Argentine - Season 1 was very up and down.

Long story, short: The show has had some really incredible moments, presuming you buy into the heightened dramatization. It's also been burdened by a lot of insufferable garbage. So, it depends on your tolerance level.

@Argentine - Season 1 wasn't the best but it got a lot better in Season 2 and is currently good in Season 3. The show has really good versions of Riddler, Penguin and Alfred.

@Argentine -

I've heard mixed views. I ended up purchasing the first season a long time ago and was watching the episodes but found that it was boring other than Penguin and his interactions with others. It really does feel like it should have been a story about Penguin's rise to power in Gotham. Having Batman, Gordon and all the other iconic Batman characters other than the rogues to me felt like a mistake.

Should have just been purely focused on the rogues and perhaps maybe slowly build up a young Gordon - having the show end when he is called to the scene of a shooting - revealed to be the death of the Wayne parents.

I still have'nt fully completed watching season. I'm unsure if the show has changed or if it improves in later episodes.

Not a huge fan of those masks for the court. Always loved how it looked in the comics.

Yeah, the comic version draws many parallels with 'faceless men' and the concept of anonymity. They were also considerably more creepy;

For those wondering if they should try this show .. I'd say skip Season 1. Watch Season 2 to start and then go back later.

It's not 100% comic accurate, but it's interesting enough to keep watching

The only things I'd say I "hate" are Fish .. because I can't stand her as an "actor" and I really don't like what they've done with Barbara. I don't think they can ever redeem her enough that it would make sense for Gordon to marry her.

Other than that. The way they are developing everyone is pretty cool and it looks like Bruce is now well on his way

I was never A fan of Batman villians appearing before Batman. But I enjoy Jerome episodes. This show should have done the Smallville take with Teen Bruce Wayne becoming man while fighting enemies and training to become Batman.

Why wouldn't they have used more coming accurate masks for the Court? They're a lot creepier.

I actually like the direction this show has taken after a rocky first few seasons. The tone is fantastic also.

Oh, great! More pictures of Jessica Lucas! I can't deal with this! And I'm supposed to believe that girl actually exists and isn't made entirely of CGI? I don't think so, sir. I don't think so.
