The New Function Of The LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Team In Season 2

There'll be a whole new status quo for the team aboard Rip Hunter's Waverider in season 2. Just what exactly that is remains a mystery but Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim has provided a big clue.

The Legends team stopped Vandal Savage (Casper Crump)  at the close of season one of the freshman CW superhero drama.  So where do they go next?  Said executive producer Marc Guggenheim, "In many ways, the season finale of season 1 set up the new mission statement for season 2.  Like Rip says at the end of the season finale, there basically are no more Time Masters. We basically have to be the Time Masters.”

Another clue is the addition of Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) who appeared in the finale, asking the Legends team for help.  Guggenheim has also confirmed that Hourman's appearance is a precursor for the addition of the full roster of the Justice Society of America.  As such, season 2 will add Steel (Nick Zano), Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers )and the departure of Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) as series regulars.

Season 2 kicks off Thursday, October 13 at 8/7c on The CW.

I wanna see the Spectre appear. We already know he exist thanks to Constantine, but at the same time lets not power him down.

I've been re-watching S1 and other than a few episodes, they had a great first season.

@jaysin420 - Definitely agree. It was really entertaining and just pure comic book awesomeness. I really love the Firestorm duo. They have such good chemistry. Lol, no pun intended...ok...maybe a little.

@Supafairy - I was worried about Jax at first, but he won me over in the episode with his dad. By the time the season ended, he was one of my fave characters. Stein is always great and like you said they're really good together, the whole father figure thing works nicely.

I really like most of the characters, Ray, Mic, Sarah, Stein, Jax. My only worry is losing Snart full time, he was easily my fave, but I do love how he's gonna be bouncing around all the shows.
