FOX's LUCIFER Delivers Strong Ratings For FOX In Its Debut

Last night saw the debut of Fox's Lucifer, and it looks like The CW might be getting some competition in the "most comic book shows" department as Lucifer premiered with surprisingly strong ratings.

Fox's newest comic book show, Lucifer, made it's premiere last night after The X-Files and while it wasn't a hit with critics, it is looking to be a hit with viewers as Lucifer's pilot episode managed to pull in an impressive 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 7.15 million viewers. Now sure, you can chalk the impressive premiere rating to having The X-Files as its lead-in, and ratings will likely go down in the coming weeks as it does for every comic book show, but if Lucifer does manage to at least match Gotham's usual 1.5 demo rating, it looks like Fox may have another successful comic book show under its belt.

So what do you guys think? Did you expect Lucifer to premiere with such a strong performance? Have you seen the pilot episode of Lucifer? If so what did you think? Leave your thoughts in the usual place down below!
