After being absent since back around the first half of the season, Dean Cain's Jerimiah Danvers is set to return on next week's installment of Supergirl, which is titled "Homecoming". Though Kara and co. are happy to see him at first, it doesn't take long before a bit of family drama ensues.

Check out the promo below (beware of some potential spoilers), along with a synopsis for the episode.

“Homecoming” – (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV) DEAN CAIN RETURNS

– When Jeremiah Danvers (guest star Dean Cain) is rescued from Cadmus, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara (Melissa Benoist) are thrilled to have their father back. The Danvers arrange a family dinner to celebrate but things go awry when a suspicious Mon-El (Chris Wood) starts to question Jeremiah about his sudden return.

I really liked the episode. I was worried that Mxyzptlk not being a midget would be distracting, but that didn't happen. I also like that they kept his characterization kinda like the comics. Dangerous, but mischievously so. I DID feel like they found a way to cheat with his weakness, but getting him to say his name backwards has always been the weirdest weakness.

I think what bugs me most about the show isn't the fact that Supergirl's powers fluctuate every episode, like she basically elbowed a human man in the face, so I'm sure he's dead.

It's the fact that the DEO is supposed to be a top secret government program, but they have Supergirl flying into the same building every day, and the cop, Maggie, literally has access to everything there. She just walks into a top secret government facility without even a visitor's pass.

Hell, they keep powerful aliens locked up there, which is right in the middle of a heavily populated city.

The whole Mxyzptlk storyline was so bad. It would've been so much better if they saved the money they used on Parasite and had Mxyzptlk floating around as a CGI imp.

The storyline also should've had a Mxyzptlk with a history of messing with Superman. He then moves on to Supergirl and realizes how beautiful she is and THEN falls in love with her. That way Kara can call on Clark for advice like she did all of season 1.

Aww man, i really liked Mxy! :D
The only thing Supergirl has done better than SV, but SV is still the BEST!
Everything else was...i mean wtf, it's not even S.Valentine, they could have aired this episode two weeks ago, right?!!

I still want to see Dean Cain as the new Cyborg Superman, because for now they've done a lousy job, their revalation was underwhelming as, NOTHING compared to the Martian one.

As a matter of fact....Cw has yet to show a oool moment like that, CBS had poor VFX, Red Tornado sucked ass, but when Kara defeated him, well...That was badass!!!
