SUPERGIRL: The DEO Is Under Attack In The New Promo For Season 5, Episode 6: "Confidence Women"

Next week, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and the DEO find themselves under attack when they're incepted by an unknown enemy, but whether it's Malefic (Phil LaMarr) or someone else doing the deed is yet-to-be determined. However, with Kara on the case, it seems likely her quest for answers may result in her finally discovering Lena Luthor's (Katie McGrath) deception.

Meanwhile, Andrea (Julie Gonzalo) and Lena take a trip down memory lane and remember key points in their collective history.

"Confidence Women" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

Meanwhile, Andrea (Julie Gonzalo) and Lena (Katie McGrath) think back on their tumultuous past. Shannon Kohli directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Nicki Holcomb (#506). Finding out that Russel was Doctor Halftopus was about as surprising as waking up. At least Lena's sub-plot is moving along interestingly.

Finally got to see Phil Lamar in person. Cool, although I had hoped if he ever showed up on one of the shows it would be on Black Lightning as Static's father (if Static ever shows up) or maybe as a brother of Lynn's brother John Stewart

@dracula - I met the guy once. Real nice in person.

If you've seen Pulp Fiction, he was Marvin (the guy shot in the face by Vince).

@FlixMentallo21 - He was also the person who stopped Peter from falling the train in Spiderman 2.
Didn't actually see Phil Lamar in person, I meant see him in person on the show, since before now he was just the voice

Wonder if that guy was an intentional reference to Doctor Octopus, wouldn't be the first time DC has had fun with stuff like that

THIS is how they reinterpreted the Fourth World character Rip Roar?

Pretty mediocre episode, found most of it to be boring and/or stupid or just a bit logicless. Also, that scene with Kelly where she was crying in front of the mirror, that was godawful acting. Meh

Another cool episode, am enjoying how big and tangled the Leviathan conspiracy is as well as how it is slowly being deciphered.

They have made me to already start to care about the toll that William’s investigation has take on him. I am pretty sure he signed up to continue Russel’s after what happened to him and the news at the end that he was Rip Roar all along will just not shake him to his core but is possible he will want to get him in a room to know more. But he is probably being controlled by a similar type of mind control that Lena is looking for.

So now all Lena has to do is just “launch” her own line of VR “Do No Harm” lenses seeing she now has all that she needs. But the longer she keeps her guest Martian it can all go down the toilet soon.

Brainy's scenes with the sentient alien tattoo was cool and Dreamer holding back the wave was badass. The effects in the climax of the episode were quite good.

Is starting to look like Andrea is just a petty and ignorant person that is not aware of her family's dangerous ties with Leviathan. But some answers are finally going to come out next week since they will want to get rid of Russel now in case they can reach to him.

This is all coming to an head pretty soon. 🧐
