Superman & Lois continues to be top-tier DC TV and this week's episode was no different as Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) continued her quest to expose Bruno Mannheim (Chad L. Coleman) and Intergang, which would normally be business as usual, but considering her recent Stage III breast cancer diagnosis, it's a major cause of concern for Clark (Tyler Hoechlin).
After sharing her diagnosis with the rest of her family and friends, Lois and Clark learn from Lara-El (Mariana Klaveno) that there isn't any Kryptonian technology that can help her and that she must undergo an aggressive regimen of chemotherapy to improve her odds, something she isn't particularly keen on getting started as she finds a way to skip her first two appointments.
During her second missed appointment, she instead goes off to an Intergang hangout where she and Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) get cornered by the syndicate, but, fortunately, are saved by Superman and Steel (Wolé Parks) just in the nick of time. She then finally admits to Clark that she's afraid of starting chemotherapy and finally agrees to start treatment with her family's support.
Elsewhere, in the episode, John Henry and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) got a little bit closer when he dropped by to install a new security system for her. However, while she may be on a cusp of starting a new relationship, her former relationship with Kyle (Erik Valdez) had a bit more drama as her frequent squabbles with her ex resulted in Lana getting into a heated argument with Sarah (Inde Navarrette), culminating in a slap that will likely have a major impact in the following hour.
Next week, it looks like Clark will finally get Lois to take a rest day, but, of course, that's a lot easier said than done and the ace reporter soon finds herself right back in the danger zone. Meanwhile, Sarah (Inde Navarrette) and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) aren't on the best terms after their most recent encounter, resulting in Kyle (Erik Valdez) playing mediator. Then, Jonathan (Michael Bishop) runs into more trouble with Candice's dad.
