Watchman is looking more and more like spider 3 and matrix reload, where they showed so much spoilers on trailers and so many tv spot videos, once i went to watch the actual movie...i didnt "WOWed".

Ok, don't like the whole tenement fire one, and the guy doing Veidt.... they could have replaced him with a wooden board and it would still be the same, and the mobile game looks awful. Seriously... Snyder has problems, why would you put the comedian jumping down in slo-mo?

Hopefully in context I'll be able to appreciate some things a whole lot more, otherwise get ready for me to complain to no end.

maybe it's because all we've been shown from this movie so far are scenes paired with intense music, but these didnt "WOW" me. i think i kinda forgot that it was actually gonna be a movie and not a music video, so to speak. do you know what i mean? you see a tailer with clips and a smashing pumpkins roaring in the backround and it's so dynamic. i've paired those songs with this movie for so long, i'm not used to seeing a scene like this where they really slow it down and give the characters time to speak. Rorschach sounds awesome. veidt was actually not as bad as i thought it would be. we've been hearing crappy things about him but i actually think that the comedian, while visually the most accurate, is not the voice i imagine him with. a little too smooth, doesnt sound like a smoker.

I was never into this comic series at all. Quite frankly, I don't know much about it, but aside from thinking Rorschach looks cool with the shifting ink blot face mask, I'm not all that thrilled about this movie. Plus, like Doritos said. They're showing so much of this movie and Wolverine on TV and such that by the time you see the movie, you're going to have already seen half of it and not be "WoWed".

You have seen like 6 random minutes of a 2hr n' 40min movie, relax lots of stuff left...plus if you've read the novel then you know what happens.

@quagmire

Claiming that this won't be a "thinking" experience before watching the whole film makes you a troll.

So yeah, eat your own shit.

Quagmire...

See the movie before you are so certain that "there are so many flaws." All you do is complain, and maybe you think this is the place to do so, but personally, I find it annoying and childish. And you say, "we gave it to a guy," as if you somehow take responsibility for handing the movie to Snyder? Like he said several times, someone was going to do it, so at least he could do it in a way that was at least faithful to the book. Do you honestly think it is all in his control? Hell no. Warner Brothers is a huge studio, who I am sure told him what he could and could not do, and I am sure he disagreed with them at times, but what else can he do? Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing this film.

Take care folks.

oh i know why they put the comedian jumping in slo-mo!!!!! they want to foreshadow. his jumping and landing is very similar to when Laurie jumps from the owl ship to rescue the tenants. they are trying to hint at the father-daughter thing ahead of time. try and get you there before she does and then you are really surprised when you find out she doesn't know!!!!!! same reason her pic is in his apartment.
