Depending on where you live, you'll either be tuning into Moon Knight on Disney+ this evening or first thing tomorrow morning. Regardless, we're just hours away from the show's launch, and Marvel Studios has dropped a new extended TV spot that's packed full of crazy reveals and trippy imagery.
It definitely feels like a lot is still being held back, but you'll get your fix of some familiar comic book imagery mixed with mind-bending moments that drive home how unique Moon Knight is shaping up to be. Based on the first reactions, it sounds like the limited series will explore the MCU in ways previous projects have not, and we're intrigued by what that means for both this character and the world he inhabits.
"Oscar Isaac puts Moon Knight on the map in Marvel Studios' most daring TV show yet," we said in our review of the first four episodes of the show, "ushering in an unmissable new era of storytelling in a series that, if it sticks the landing, could go down as a classic."
Check out this new TV spot for the series below:
The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.
Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead directed the episodes (those George Clooney rumours were incorrect). Jeremy Slater is the head writer, and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater and Oscar Isaac are the executive producers.
Moon Knight premieres on Disney+ on March 30.
