Outside of
Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel's Runaways has the best use of music in the MCU. Though that may sound like a bold claim, those who watch it weekly would probably agree with the opinion. Its use of music is a character, one that sets the tone of the ambient young adult series while providing the eerie and myserious undertones needed. Scored by
This Is Us' Siddhartha Khosla (which also has fantastic music), the soundrack is a must-listen for fans of the series.
Recently renewed for a second season, the music of the series is consisted of two albums. The
Marvel's Runaways Soundtrack is out today (January 12), and mainly includes pre-existing music used throughout the first season. The
Marvel's Runaway's Original Score digital album, with music made for the series, will be released on January 26th.
