THE GIFTED: New Teaser Promises The Mutant Resistance Will Return For Season 2 This Fall
After that explosive season finale, which saw a number of unexpected developments, FOX has released a brief new teaser for the upcoming second season. Come check it out and discuss the finale here!
Just like her father before her, Polaris (Emma Dumont) made the leap from hero to villain in tonight's explosive season finale as she killed Dr. Roderick Campbell (Garret Dillahunt) and effectively ended her relationship with the Mutant Underground by joining the Stepford Cuckoos (Skyler Samuels) and the shady Hellfire Club.
However, that was hardly the most shocking part of the two-hour finale as not only did Polaris leave the Underground, but she took a very conflicted Andy Strucker (Percy Hynes White) with her. Yeah, after forming Fenris with Lauren (Natalie Alyn Lind) to take out the Hounds and Sentinel Services, the youngest Strucker decided to embrace his Von Strucker heritage and join the same terrorist organization that once housed his great-grandparents.
Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
The Gifted features:
