We know Hayden Christensen will return as Anakain Skywalker/Darth Vader for the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, but it's now come to light that the legendary Dark Lord of the Sith will also have a part to play in another planned Disney+ Star Wars show.
THR reports that Christensen has signed on to appear in The Mandalorian spinoff, Ahsoka, which will focus on Rosario Dawson's fan-favorite force-wielder. Like The Mandalorian, Ahsoka will be set after the events of Return of the Jedi, which means Vader is already dead by that point in the timeline. This has led to speculation that Christensen may show up as a Force-Ghost, but flashbacks are also a possibility.
As any fan of the animated side of the galaxy far, far away will no doubt be aware, Ahsoka Tano and Anakin have a lot of history, with the once heroic Jedi taking the young Togruta on as his Padawan in the early days of the Clone Wars series. The two would come face-to-face again as adversaries in Star Wars Rebels for an epic battle that ended with Ahsoka's (apparent) demise.
Further details are under wraps, but Christensen's involvement in Ahsoka is sure to generate plenty of discussion.
