PC gamers eager to square off as some of DC's most iconic heroes and villains can now do so as Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's critically acclaimed fighting game,
Injustice 2, has arrived on the platform.
Although the game has been available on consoles since May of this year, it's only just now playable on PC. The wait, however, means PC gamers can immediately play as the additional DLC characters that have been released on consoles thus far. This means that in addition to the roster of characters that includes members of the Justice League and other DC fan-favorites such as Harley Quinn and Green Arrow, you can play as characters released post-launch. This includes Red Hood, Sub Zero, Starfire, Black Manta, and Raiden. Hellboy, who was released today for the console versions of the game, will become available on PC at a later date.
Injustice 2 is available for PC as both a Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition via
Steam and the
Microsoft Store. If you want to play as all of the characters — DLC characters included — you'll have to pony up $79.99 for the Ultimate Edition which includes all 9 DLC characters, 3 premiere skins (for Flash, Green Lantern, and Supergirl), and 2 exclusive gear shader packs. Alternatively, you can purchase the individual Fighter Packs which lump groups of DLC characters together.
Fighter Pack 3 was recently revealed for Injustice 2 and it includes the Atom, Enchantress, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Originally developed by NetherRealm Studios, the PC version of Injustice 2 has been adapted by QLOC.
