Even though World Of Warcraft is super-popular video game series, there are a lot of people in the world that really have no clue what it is about. And because of that, Ducan Jones, the director of Warcraft movie, is going to use the first film to introduce audiences to this fantastical world by showing "the first time Orcs met Humans."

Okay, but which side is going to be the good guys and which side is going to be the bad guys? "A Warcraft film should not be about a good race of humans battling an evil race of orcs! Warcraft should be about heroes on both sides trying to avoid a conflict, when villains leave them no choice," Duncan Jones tells the Chinese website Mtime.

"Peter Jackson did a magnificent job of ‘setting the table’ for Tolkein’s universe with his first Lord of the Rings film. I know that my job in this first film is to establish certain characters, places and culture while telling a story that a broad audience can be excited by! Hopefully, if I have done my job right, people will want to know and see more! There is certainly plenty more to tell! …I would love to be part of that process of expanding on the lore that makes up Warcraft, but it will all depend on what you, the audience, think of our first film!” - Duncan Jones

WARCRAFT Opens On March 11, 2016!

The Cast: Dominic Cooper as King Llane Wryn, "Robert Kazinsky as Orgrim, Paula Patton as Garona, Ben Foster is Medivh the “Guardian," Daniel Wu as Gul’dan, Ruth Negga as Lady Taria, Toby Kebbell as Durotan, Ben Schnitzer as Khadgar and Clancy Brown as Blackhand “The Destroyer.”

Completely optimistic about this movie.
I don't play WOW but I love the story of the first 3 games.

I hope we get to see Thrall as a kid in this one and as the leader in the sequel

Duncan Jones is a great director, Moon is one of my favorites. Hopefully Warcraft delivers big, we need a great fantasy adventure film outside of Tolkien's world.

I hope this does well, I need my fantasy fix now that the Hobbit is done. Plus if this does well then hopefully the better Blizzard game, that being Starcraft can get a movie too.

@mbembet zelda and link would end up in a shared universe with mario, mega man and kirby. They'd each get an individual movie then team up in smash bros to battle bowser and Ganon.

Baldur's Gate eh! What a game don't know if it'd translate tho. There's actually a few good fan made WOW movies out there including a feature length one that was pretty good as far as I remember, done in Maschina Style.
