Only bad films in the X-Men franchise are 2/3's of Origins and X3 other than that I've enjoyed all the others. I don't mind a new actor replacing Jackman. Just as long as they do it in style, like after the Apocalyose film. They could easily replace a new actor without it looking too "BAM IN YOUR FACE" (The Dark Knight *Rachel*, Iron Man 2 *Rhodey*) If they're sharing the same universe with the fantastic 4 as they say they are you could easily explain their being another parallel universe with the X-Men and just have the new films after Apocalypse be set in the F4 universe.

Or I'm putting too much thought into it and they'll simply recast him, start with a fresh new cast altogether and basically reboot it focusing on the present day with an older James McAvoy Professor X?

When I thought it was real I didn't even bother looking then up online. lol If those "Back to the Future" sneakers were selling for thousands of dollars I could only imagine the price of a Hoverboard. xD I wouldn't rule out the idea though, I'm sure out future kids will have it made for them. lol

It wasn't a bad movie just a bit rushed within the story arc. There's some things I enjoyed like Beast (of course), Angel, iceman finally getting iced up, that cliff hanger with the chest piece and the after credits scene.

That being said there is a lot to be desired with Singer and how he handles the X Men in my opinion and the damn costumes are so disappointing to me.

I cannot wait for the day when Ian McKellen leaves the franchise and Magneto's mantle goes *permanently* to Michael Fassbender. Just my opinion, but Michael is a much better actor than Ian McKellen, with a lot more love to the character as well. MA TWO CENTS.

The X-Men franchise while being a else worlds story is a disappointment overall to me. Ive read X-Men for decades and I don’t necessarily want a panel for panel adaptation of what Ive read but what I’ve gotten so far is a very dry representation of the wealth of source material that they have to work with. We’ve had 7 films and were just now getting to Sentinels. We haven’t seen Sinister, Shi’Ar, Savage land, Shadow King, and Sauron and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head that begin with S. I thank the franchise for what it did for the overall of CBMs and I still think X2 is one of the top 20 CBMs to date but they are surely limiting themselves as far as production. Hopefully with this DOFP and Apokalips films they can get on the right track.
