The much anticipated sequel to Mel Gibson's Road Warrior series begins production...maybe. In a recent find, madmaxmovies.com has stumbled upon some images from a convoy of post-apocalyptic vehicles. They certainly could belong to another film, but the website is convinced that they're part of the FURY ROAD set. The most recent news about the film came from lead actor Tom Hardy who claimed that production would be delayed until April 2012 after a series of torrential storms drowned the set locations in Australia.

So what's the deal? Here are the leaked pics.

Isn't Tom still filming TDKR? That would make it impossible for Mad Max to begin shooting. But stranger things happened before so who knows...

I'm not expecting Jack $hit if Mel isn't in it. There is only one road warrior as far as I'm concerned.
