According to Mania, Judd Winick is writing a screenplay for an animated film adaption of Batman: Under The Hood. Winick had collaborated with artists Doug Mahnke and Paul Lee to do the comic book storyline.
The comic book saw the return of former Robin Jason Todd, under the guise of the Red Hood. Returning to Gotham to avenge his death at the hands of the Joker, the character eventually comes to blows with Batman. Major DC characters, including Nightwing, Green Arrow and Zatanna made cameo appearances in the series.
Interestingly, this will be the first official animated Batman film since Batman: Gotham Knight. Do you think it is a good idea to do a film adaption of the storyline?
