ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Star Laurence Fishburne May Have Just SPOILED The Sequel's Big Twist

Man of Steel star Laurence Fishburne clearly didn't get the memo that Marvel Studios like to keep the plots of its movies under wraps because the actor just dropped a huge Ant-Man and The Wasp spoiler...

There was a time when Marvel Studios gave away almost the entire plots of its movies in trailers but that thankfully changed when The Avengers was released. Since then, Kevin Feige and company have become experts at keeping secrets but someone probably should have told Laurence Fishburne that! At the world premiere of Ant-Man and The Wasp last night, the actor dropped a pretty major spoiler.

Asked about how Bill Foster fits into the sequel, Fishburne said: "I have this sort of surrogate daughter, this character called Ghost played by Hannah John-Kamen who is incredible, and we sorta have a father-daughter thing going on." Many fans have theorised that the two characters would be related but the fact she's a "surrogate" daughter to Bill points to a less traditional relationship between them.

Regardless, this definitely supports the theory that Fishburne's character will be revealed as a villain who takes on Scott Lang in a Giant-Man vs. Goliath battle during the final act! We'll just have to wait and see on that front but these remarks definitely leave us with a lot to think about and potentially spoil one of Ant-Man and The Wasp's biggest moments. What do you think? I'm happy that Fishburne gets to be in a lighthearted superhero movie.

Based on his reaction to Man of Steel and BvS, that's what he thought he was signing up for with those movies.
I remember him being asked what his favourite line was, in BvS, and he said "[I'm a friend of your son's.] I figured, the cape" and that is the only [frick]ing joke in the film.

@Nebula

He was a good Perry White. But I haven’t seen many movies where I’ve actively disliked Laurence Fishburne.

Actually, what Fishburne said didn't spoil anything for me, but what you wrote after that quote probably did.
