According to Deadline's Mike Fleming, Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead, Black Pather) has joined the cast of Marvel and The Russo Brothers' Avengers: Infinity War. Fleming adds that although "no one is saying", he's "speculating" that she'll be reprising the role of Okoye from Ryan Coogler's Black Panther.
I'd say that's a pretty safe bet, Mike.
The Russos recently teased that we'd be taking a little trip to Wakanda for the third Avengers movie, so it makes sense that some of T'Challa's companions would feature alongside their king. It's already been confirmed that Shuri (Letitia Wright) will be showing up, and Winston Duke's Man-Ape is rumored.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
