'THANOS' Completes The Infinity Gauntlet In HQ AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Teaser Image

We saw this awesome image of Thanos in low-quality from Marvel's "Phase 3" announcement montage, but the Avengers: Age of Ultron Blu-ray has provided an official and much clearer look at the mad Titan wielding all six Infinity Stones on his gauntlet. Check it out!

Late last year, when Marvel Studios had announced its full Phase 3 slate at the El Capitan Theatre special event, there was a montage that ended with new shot of Thanos (Josh Brolin) wielding a completed Infinity Guantlet. This bit of nerdgasm imagery was used to announce the two-part Avengers: Infinity War event, but now an official look the Mad Titan's appearance in the montage has surfaced online by way of the Avengers: Age of Ultron Digital HD and Blu-ray/DVD release.

Although Thanos has yet to acquire any of the six Infinity Stones in the MCU, check out what the near future holds below. And look forward to seeing all of Earth's Mightiest Heroes take on the purple supervillain in Avengers: Infinity War - Part I on May 4, 2018, and in Part II on May 3, 2019.

Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - Part I and Part II will reteam Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Civil War screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely with co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo. The highly-anticipated two-part event will also be the first movies ever to be shot entirely with new IMAX cameras, when principal photography begins reportedly in October, 2016, and will supposedly last a whipping nine months in the U.K among other places. What do you think?

I'm really curious how Black Panther fits between both Infinity War movies? It sort of kind of made sense to come before and to have Inhumans inbetween. I'm pretty sure we won't even see Thanos acquire all Infinity Stones until Part Two.

Phase 3 will be insane

There needed to always be a better execution when introducing the Stones. I mean this in the slightest derogatory way but, they're nothing more than anticipated. Hopefully they hold out on Doctor Strange - GOTG Vol. 2 will definitely introduce the Soul and maybe even the Time stone? It'll be easy to elucidate time travel, particularly for Magus. Please introduce the more elaborate and abstract fantasy, Marvel.

Don't understand the need for two gauntlets but at least that confirms Thanos will be much more than fodder in Thor: Ragnarok- which needs to be bonkers. I'm really yearning for Marvel to, instead of actually personifying Death, why not make Hela Thanos' true love? Get rid of the annoying trope and actually keep her alive to have her appear in both Infinity War Parts.

The Inhumans and guardians better be in infinity war part 2 because I honestly don't know how the avengers are going to match thanos the only heavy hitters will be Dr strange, hulk, scarlet witch, Captain Marvel, and maybe iron man since he created a hulk proof suit. You know who would come in handy for infinity war??? Quicksilver.

Almost forgot I hope the defenders show up too I know they're not cosmic level but if spiderman is going to fight thanos then why can't the other street level heroes. Marvel needs to use everyone at their disposal not only because it's thanos but because this is what the movies have been leading up to.

@MrCBM56 - "I'm really curious how Black Panther fits between both Infinity War movies?"

Same way the First Avenger fit in between Thor and Avengers?

I doubt Black Panther and Captain Marvel are going to be set between Infinity War films. The order doesn't need to be strictly chronological.

He's gonna cause ragnarok. I thunk he will awaken Surtur. The fall of asgard will allow Thanos to acquire the Tesseract.

@Jeight well close to that number fought Thanos in Infinity Gauntlet, so I image a bunch a heroes will fight him in the movie as well. Of course you know some of those heroes won't be in the IW movie due to movie rights or they have been introduced yet & not likely to be introduced(ex. She-Hulk and Cloak)
