Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 4, What Ails You, is now available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, and mobile. Telltale has also released a special season pass disk that is available now at all major retailers. The disk contains the first episode from the season with access to subsequent episodes as they are released.

Telltale have consistently provided a unique and bold take on the Batman mythos and have proven time and again that they are not afraid to break the rules. The first season redefined the character's origin story completely by painting Thomas Wayne as a corrupt figure with ties to the mob resulting in a lot of inner turmoil for the caped crusader. The Telltale series invites the player and Bruce Wayne to define who Batman is in this world.

The Enemy Within carries this over and once again puts Bruce in a unique situation by placing him behind enemy lines for the first time. The series focuses on Bruce infiltrating The Pact, a villainous organisation which is comprised of his most famous rogues. Bruce must build fragile alliances and relationships with his greatest enemies including the potential Joker, John Doe. Telltale has provided an official synopsis for the fourth episode.

"When the Pact puts its plan into motion, Bruce's cover is finally blown, and as his web of lies unravels, new questions emerge: When and how will the Pact regroup? What's truly motivating Amanda Waller and the Agency? And perhaps most importantly, how will John Doe handle the truth about his buddy Bruce? With another showdown brewing, the clown prince of crime may finally earn his crown..."

I never understood these games. Is like “make your own comic book story” type of game?

@WruceBayne - yes pretty much.

@WruceBayne - I never liked the idea either. But I tried it when it was a free PS Plus game and I really enjoyed it. It's more of an interactive TV show than a game.

@Nightwing1015 - i just watched some gameplay and that's exactly how i'd describe it. Kind of a cool idea for sure. The first episodes had some cool batman scenes.

I kind of lost interest in the game when I realized nothing you choose changes anything in the end.

At first I was really submerged in the game but then as I realized this I just didn't care anymore.

Really enjoyed last season and the first three episodes of this season so far.

I played through it yesterday.

SPOILERS....

There is a chance that I might actually be able to make the Joker a good guy in this game.

@IronMandarin - I am not sure it'll work out. His brand of justice is going to fly in the face of Batman and, in bringing him down, I fear we'll make him go further over the edge.

@ShogunOfSorrow - Hmmm possibly.

For now I think he'll be on Batman's side and Waller will be the enemy for the next episode, but if Bruce rejects him again it could send him over the edge and you may end up having to put him back to the asylum.
