We're now exactly one month to the day away from the release of The Batman, and director Matt Reeves has marked the occasion by taking to Twitter to share a new TV spot for the movie.

It's a brief promo, but there are a few new shots in there, including a glimpse of Robert Pattinson's Dark Knight being shot at close range by a foe before shrugging it off and beating him to a pulp. We also get another look at the Caped Crusader taking to the air as he soars through Gotham.

In addition, a first look at the cover image for an upcoming The Art of The Batman book has found its way online. The stunning artwork sees Gotham's protector watching over his city.

"Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) — amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens."

“When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.”

We recently learned that The Batman will be rated PG-13 for “strong violence, disturbing content, drug content, strong language, and some suggestive material.” The movie is set to hit theaters on March 4.

I thought Batman appearing to be COMPLETELY bulletproof in that one scene, would be a lot more controversial. Surprisingly, I haven't
seen any criticism. Batman's perceived vulnerability, is what really separates him from Iron Man, in terms of suspense and being grounded. I'm interested to see how Matt Reeves will show that, in this movie.

@99OPTIMISTPRIME - That definitely took me out of what was a pretty great trailer last year, but honestly after BvS I don't even care anymore. As long as Batman isn't a murderer or a sexual predator I'll be pretty chill

@99OPTIMISTPRIME - I'm waiting to see it in the context of the movie, but I do have to say that Batman walking through a barrage of bullets doesn't make for an interesting Batman action scene.

I really hope They don’t drop the ball on Gotham. Hope it’s dark and the skyline looks like Tokyo and foggy and tones in darkness. I wanna escape like in a citizen in Gotham.

@SirDuckAlot - What are you talking about?!

Besides only ONE of the posters, every other poster for the film has been phenomenal and doesn't contain any floating heads.

Now that's Gotham!
Man if we have a Superman in this universe I wonder if they'd make Metropolis like a 1930's city like the animated series where it's bright and alive etc. This Gotham here looks like it's dark gritty rundown like the Arkham games. More please.....

..early screening reviews are saying it's violent and scary, almost a horror movie. Looks like we will finally get the batman movie fans have been wanting even before burton's and especially batflick. With joker and the batman and maybe even suicide squad, perhaps DC is gonna go beyond the superhero bubblegum that they tried and marvel did and do even above nolan's attempt at realism. I'm glad phoenix is here to take ledger's place as the joker for the future
