UPDATE: Photos of Christian Bale & Michael Caine at the University of Greenwich

Bale in these most recent photos, looks more youthful, and may suggest that this scene is a flashback to earlier events in Bruce Wayne's life. The rest of The Dark Knight Rises coverage is a compilation of: pictures, news, tweets, and speculation.

@brazilianbatman probably so

the longer hair would help add to a more youthful appearance. Also, it seems he'll most likely be wearing his suit from TDK. In which case he can't bulk up like he was in BB

JULEZ13 - 7/15/2011, 9:32 AM
Wish Bale bulked up like he was in BB, I thought he was almost close to perfect then. Batman looked like a pigeon in TDK because he was so skinny and it looks like we'll be getting more of the same. *sigh*

Still can't wait for this film though!

Did we just get some type of confirmation that Cottilard is actually playing Talia or was that just someone spreading the rumor?!?

I am just not that exited about TDKR. Maybe because Caps movie is almost here, or maybe because I really don't think it will live up to the hype. I think people are expecting TDK or something bigger and I just don't see it. So I am just keeping my expectations low. That way I think I might be pleasantly surprised. Of course it didn't work for me for GL....

@Romack: I'm with ya man, I think the amazingness of both Spiderman and Avengers are keeping me from getting too hyped for this movie. Sure Dark Knight was great, but ... I mean it feels kinda overrated now. I just don't know what to expect with this one; I'm not a Nolanite.

Realistically, Batman probably wouldn't be that built.

He would be about the same size as a light heavy weight UFC fighter for example.

Too much muscle bulk isn't practical for the speed Batman needs.

Of course Miranda is Talia in disguise.
I don´t have any doubt about it.
Fantine
Fantine - 7/15/2011, 3:37 PM
I have no doubt either that Miranda is Talia, not only would Nolan miss out on a golden plot line with her being Ra's daughter but he would also be wasting Marion's extreme talent and exotic looks to not make her Talia. She will be sent by Rah to get close to Bruce Wayne, and trick him to giving up Batman. Thus letting Bane wreck havoc on Gotham, until Batman must return, with the help of the mysterious Catwoman. Sorry got carried away.

Tacos@-No doubt it was overrated.
Now I know alot of people will bash me for this but.... The death of Ledger is to credit for part of that. Granted his performance was great but it was nothing spectacular. But people hold that movie in such high regard that it does not matter if TDKR is the most Oscar worthy movie of ALL time..... it will never live up to the mystique attached to TDK. Maybe then people will realize that while TDK was a great movie, it was not the Holy Grail of CBMs.
JackDexx
JackDexx - 7/15/2011, 9:15 PM
I'm with ROMACK. the most interesting character from TDK isn't in it, so it won't be as good. not to say it will be bad just another mediocre batman movie.
