BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Stars Thank Fans For Their Support
We found out earlier that Batman V Superman had passed $500M at the box office, and now Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) and Henry Cavill (Superman) have posted messages of thanks to the fans.
Despite being pretty much universally panned by critics, audiences have gone out in droves to see Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and as a result the movie soared past $500 million at the global box office earlier today after just 5 days on release.
That's quite an accomplishment, and two of the film's stars have taken to social media to acknowledge the overwhelming fan-support in the face of such negativity.
Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill posted the following to their Facebook pages.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is out now.
