Black Widow Will Give Fans "Closure"
Despite recent comments from Scarlett Johansson pointing to
Black Widow being the first chapter in a new, standalone franchise, the actress has addressed what fans can expect from the movie and it definitely sounds like Natasha's story in the MCU could reach its permanent end here.
"Closure," she responded.
"I mean, I hope so. I don’t know if I can take it anymore without closure. I mean, its too exhausting. I love it, I’m so proud of what we made. Now, we get to sprinkle the magic all over it." A trailer for Black Widow is expected to be with us before the end of the year.
A Drax The Destroyer Solo Movie?
During a recent Q&A session,
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 writer and director James Gunn was asked for his thoughts on which memer of the team is most deserving of their own solo movie.
His answer? Drax The Destroyer.
Dave Bautista has done an amazing job in the role and it's obvious that we've only scratched the surface when it comes to his history and motivations, two things a spinoff could easily address.
Ms. Marvel's Working Title Is "Jersey"
So, we all assumed that
Ms. Marvel would be part of Phase 5, but it could arrive on Disney+ even sooner. As you can see above, shooting is expected to begin as soon as next April and if that's correct (and there's no reason to assume it's not), those rumours about the Inhumans being rebooted for the show could be confirmed or debunked sooner than expected.
In case you missed those, it's said that Vin Diesel could play Black Bolt, while Aaron Taylor-Johnson is being eyed for the role of Maximus the Mad despite previously playing Quicksilver.
Thor: Love And Thunder Will "Double Down" On Thor: Ragnarok
In an interview to promote his new movie
Jojo Rabbit,
Thor: Love and Thunder writer and director Taika Waititi promised that the movie will be even bigger and crazier than
Thor: Ragnarok.
Interestingly, he also revealed that Thor and Korg will be teaming up, a sign, perhaps, that Marvel Studios wants the breakout character to have an even larger role in this anticipated follow-up.

The New York Times recently ran a profile on Rachel Weisz, and the actress made it clear that she's been enjoying working on
Black Widow for Marvel Studios as it has a very different blockbuster feel.
"It doesn’t feel Hollywood to me, big budget — it feels like the people there are the stewards and guardians of this storytelling they care about," she explains.

James Gunn Weighs In On Gamora's MCU Status
James Gunn spent years developing the relationship between Star-Lord and Gamora, but the latter was killed off in
Avengers: Infinity War before a past version of the character made her way into the present day in
Avengers: Endgame. Asked if he was "unhappy" with Gamora's MCU status during the aforementioned Q&A, the filmmaker made it clear that he's not bothered in the least.
Why? Well, as you might expect,
"it was all discussed beforehand" and clearly a decision he knew about. Now, time will tell how he deals with that in the upcoming
Guardians of the Galaxy threequel.
