It’s been a while since we had anything “official” from Captain America: Civil War, but more incredible promotional artwork has come to end the dry-spell; at least until the inevitable TV spot that’ll air during the Super Bowl game next weekend. We saw a tiny glimpse of this illustration on official Civil War coffee mugs, but now Iron Studios has provided it in high-quality with the announcement that the toy manufacturer is developing 1/4 and 1/10 scale replica statues of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as they will appear in the highly-anticipated Marvel threequel. Featuring said heroes in epic battle, the artwork can be seen below.
Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity.
