Our friends over at Australian publication, Inside Film Magazine, have been kind enough to supply us with a sneak peak at an interview they conducted with Captain America: The First Avenger star, Hugo Weaving. While they'd already published an excerpt of this on their site in which the actor talked about his work on The Matrix and The Wolfman, editor Brendan Swift put me in touch with writer Sam Dallas, who was kind enough to share the following with me. (As well as the promise of more about the movie in a future issue the upcoming August/September issue!)

"I was over there in London for about two months last year and they kept shooting for some time after I left them and I think it all wrapped up okay. They were pleased with it, I haven’t seen anything of it but I saw very little when I was over there. Its fabulous production values. It should be a lot of fun, its an enjoyable sort of adventure romp. If its anything like Iron Man it should be very popular I would think."

With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky, Hugo Weaving as Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as Col. Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Captain America: The First Avenger will be released in 3D on July 22, later this year!
