The Creep #1 is a continuation of The Creep #0, about a private detective investigating the teen suicide of his college sweetheart's son. The detective, Oxel, has acromegaly, where the growth hormones go haywire, hence the creep of the title. His client, the college sweetheart, doesn't know this, so he has to investigate the case without her seeing him. Its a good, strong story, with adult scenes and language not for kids. Its well drawn by Jonathan Case and well written by John Arcudi. I think this is only a 4 part series, hopefully it will prove popular and we will get to see Oxel take on other cases, time will tell. This is a 5 out of 5 star comic book....
