COMICS: The Origin Of The Dark Multiverse's Evil BATMAN-FLASH Hybrid Has A Crisis On Infinite Earths Flavor

A four page preview for Batman: The Red Death teases how the evil Flash-Batman hybrid of the Dark Multiverse stole the Scarlet Speedster's powers. Apparently he had a little help from Captain Cold.

There's a definite homage to Crisis On Infinite Earths in this four page preview for Batman: The Red Death, a Dark Nights: Metal spinoff hitting comic book shops on September 20. It appears that a Crisis-like even happened in the Dark Multiverse and for some reason, the fallout has the Dark Knight targeting the Flash in order to acquire his powers.

With the previous reveal earlier this week, that Dream of the Endless aka Neil Gaiman's Sandman will play a prominent role in the series, Dark Nights: Metal (and it's spinoffs) looks poised to be a crossover event of epic proportions.  Will you be reading the series and all of its tie-ins or just sticking to the main story?

Hey people, just wondering, who else is absolutely captivated by some of the artwork in dc rebirth, legit some panels are just so intricate and it astounds me how people draw these panels to this extent.
