I hope they're not getting rid of all the new inhumans that are on Earth

I'm cool with that Nibs.

That's a great way to get around not being able to use "mutants" in their movies.

Plus, Black Bolt is the most badass king in Marvel along with Black Panther. He and the Inhumans need to shine :)

Bolt has been a complete badass throughout Infinity.

@nibs, right, it can only be taken so far without becoming redundant especially when the source material is virtually limitless. The MCU is like a GTA game at the beginning, when you're essentially cut off from the rest of the world.

Speaking of which, I didn't read the article on here yet, but, do you find the likelihood of a multi-studio crossover is realistic?

Will Avengers World feature a different team than in Hickman's book or what?

Avengers World? Black Widow series?
Really?

I just read Don McGregor's forward for the first Black Panther Masterworks collection. I didn't plan on reading the forward (he can go on), but different phrases caught my eye and I ended up reading the whole thing. All eight pages.
I was glad I did.
It reminded me how SOME stories, characters and plot links developed over time. Sometimes by accident; sometimes by subterfuge (as was at least partially the case with McGregor's run on Jungle Action); and even sometimes . . . "organically." I know, it's a scary hippie-esque word - but it's not a bad word.
Look, I know that publishers and editors were doing everything they could to MAXIMIZE PROFITS. Not a bad thing. Capitalism is a good thing (long live the USA). If they thought, as they OFTEN did, that Spider-Man would help a new title by making a forced appearance, then they forced the appearance. But the scheme to bump sales by having Peter Parker show up to help save the day, came from the editor of a given title. Maybe even from Stan himself.
But it DID NOT come from a memo issued by movie making overlords demanding more comics featuring they're grand plan.

Inhumanity?
Really?

Look at it. Just because Movie Disney/Marvel can't use mutants, we're about to be inundated with NEW mu. . . er, Inhumans. Again, that's fine for the movies. Not for the comics. Inhumans are not mutants and I for one don't want to see Marvel comics twist them into the new kid on the block to fear and loathe just because the Movie Disney/Marvel wants some mutants to bash.

But Marvel's new found predilection for retro fitting aside . . .

Do we really want ideas for new comics, characters, and plot lines to originate from the desk of some executive who is vainly hoping that the movies will drive people to the comics - or worse - that some Movie Disney/Marvel exec dictates story lines with the sole intent of driving interest in buying movie tickets?

I don't.

Give me a little sychronicity or Don McGregor subterfuge any day.

@nibs, thanks man. I didn't know Sony was considering selling any properties. I wish them luck with their finance problems and all but I sure hope they sell Spider Man back in the process.

And yeah, didn't really think these studios would play nice, and, I can't say that I'm disappointed. I'd much rather that everyone stay independent of each other and when/if another studio gets a chance to do their take, it means more for us as fans...
