Actor T.J. Miller's reputation recently hit an all-time low with accusations of sexual assault and him calling a fake bomb threat which lead to his arrest. His Deadpool co-star, Ryan Reynolds, recently revealed that Miller will not appear in Fox's upcoming spin-off X-Force.
During an interview with the New York Times, Reynolds was asked of the various allegations being leveled against Miller but declined to comment. However, the Deadpool actor did confirm that Miller was not involved in X-Force - Reynolds' next planned appearance as 'the merc with a mouth' following the upcoming release of Deadpool 2.
It's possible that Miller's time as Weasel could be up, with this confirmation by Reynolds in-mind, not only because of the afformentioned claims and crimes, but also because Reynolds is uncertain whether a Deadpool 3 will even happen.
There is no way to know whether the accusations and arrest played into their decision or whether the character was always planned to remain absent given the scope of a superhero team-up film and the fact that solo films' supporting characters are often left out of such projects.
What do you think about this news? Would you have liked to see more of Weasel or would you prefer Miller be left out?
