DEADPOOL 2's CinemaScore Has Been Revealed But How Does It Compare To The First Movie?

We know that Deadpool 2 is performing well at the box office but how have moviegoers responded to the sequel? Well, its CinemaScore has now been revealed and you can find out how it's faring right here.

The response to Deadpool 2 has been pretty positive (it currently holds the same Rotten Tomatoes score as Avengers: Infinity War) and while fans who didn't particularly enjoy the first instalment don't appear to be overly keen on the follow-up, it does seem to be going down extremely well for the most part. That's evident from the sequel's CinemaScore which has today been revealed to be an A

That's the same score the Merc with the Mouth generated in 2016 with his first movie and it's said that it's performing particularly well with older moviegoers (the R-Rating could be to thank for that).

Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of Deadpool 2 but it's an enjoyable enough ride and there's no getting around the fact Ryan Reynolds has done the character justice on the big screen, something which remains a surprise given the involvement of 20th Century Fox. Do you think the sequel deserves this score or is it inferior to its predecessor? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts below.

@DCFaithful - it’s not about Disney/fox/marvel or whatnot. If you’re a fan of comic book movies should be all that matters. I just think he’s been a little to harsh on judging a Deadpool movie which is supposed to be a little out there. You however, if you think infinity war was a snore feat I’d hate to be someone who watches a movie with you. You sound like a lot of fun at a party.

3/5 for me. Deadpool shouldn't try to be a super hero movie (sounds weird, I know) and should have sticked to a smaller scale movie. Still very enjoyable, though, but absolutely (for me, personally) not as much as the first one.

CinemaScore is useless. It's scoring is also really misleading and hard to understand because a B- is considered abysmal.

Nice of them to thank Ron Weasley, without whom, none of this would be possible.

Chalk another hit and critical hit in Donners/Kinberg/Fox/Reynolds belt.

Sure some train wrecks, but also epic highs that other studios haven’t

I'm not sure I'd agree that there are Fox/Marvel movies that are better than everything WB/DC or Marvel Studios or even Sony have released. No, wait... I am sure that I don't agree. But it's cool. Different opinions and all that. :)

@IronGenesis -
WB and Marvel Studios have TDK and Avengers, billion dollar properties and extreme fan favorites.

Try again with that statement.
