Not every studio decides to spend money on a pricey Super Bowl TV spot, but a lot of big titles received the spotlight this year as Hollywood continues to recover from the worst of the pandemic.
However, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the clear winner as Deadline reports that it made the biggest impact in the 24 hours following the Big Game. The new trailer reportedly generated 93.12 million views in that period, with Jurassic World Dominion in second place with 86.82 million views.
Amazon will no doubt be happy to learn that its expensive new series, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, was in third place, though it was a big drop in terms of engagement from there.
The Adam Project, Nope, Marry Me, Uncharted, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 round out the list, and we are a little surprised that Moon Knight was back in 9th place with The Bad Guys in 10th! The upcoming Disney+ series did only receive a 30-second TV spot, and there's weren't exactly any major reveals in there to get fans talking (in fact, it mostly used footage from the first trailer).
Clearly, Marvel Studios needs to increase interest in Moon Knight over the coming weeks, especially as the character is a relative unknown to non-comic book fans (and even those who read them!).
