It all starts as the police surround a warehouse. Several joker-like gang members are uncoucious and suspended by ropes. Batman is in the warehouse intterogating one of them. Meanwhile a black car joins the police, and a man in a olive green suit steps out, and introduces himself as detective Edward Enigma(Joseph-gordon Levitt).The police them send the swat in as Enigma is informed of the situation. Batman manages to escape, with the police left with the gang members.
Batman is in the bat-cave and discusses the mimic's with alfred. Meanwhile, a man sits in a hospital bed, in agony,the man is Thomas Elliot(Tom Hardy), a doctor left in the hospital when the Joker blew it up.Thomas just woke up from a one year coma. He see's what has happens and seeks revenge. Thomas escapes from the hospital and goes through every connection possible to find someone to help him kill Batman. He meets a man that calls himself Black Mask(Leonard Di Caprio) and is hired as an assassin. Black Maks was in a wealthy family whos fortune was destroyed by Wayne enterprise.
The Riddler is becoming obbsessed with Batman. He eventually commits murders to keep Batman on edge to see if he will crack. One of the fellow detectives becomes suspicious, so Edward kills him.The Riddler goes all the way to the top and begins to secretly give iformation to Black Mask about Batman. The Riddler becomes suspicious of Bruce Wayne and sends in an equally mad friend Dr. Hugo Strange(Robin Williams)(more of a cameo villian).
Dr.Strange finds that Batman is indeed Bruce Wayne, and gives th info to The Riddler, and the Riddler gives it to Black Mask. Black Mask sends in Hush to Wayne Manor. Bruce is shot several times and Alfred is killed. Bruce Wayne then goes into hiding and tries to recover(www.wheresbrucewayne.com).
Meanwhile, Black Mask over runs the city, taking over everything. Batman recovers and finds proof that the Riddler and Dr.Strange is mad. They are then locked up in arkham asylum, where they meet the joker. Batman then meets a young boy fighting on the streets, his name is Dick Grayson(????????). Bruce takes him in a provids him with a few gadgets.
Meanwhile, Black Mask blows up Wayne enterprise killing many. Bruce begins the fight on crime, but it continues to go downhill. Joker realeses all inmates form arkham. And Gotham is under lockdown by the U.S. government. The police take back gotham piece by piece while Bruce and Dick go and fight.It comes down to a battle in a are outside Gotham.
Hush leads in the inmates outside og Gotham. Batman knows that the inmates will go to Gotham through here, so he gets there before the police. Hush leads Bane(a cameo) and other inmates through. Batman and Dick(NOT ROBIN!!!!!) stop them dead in their tracks. Hush leaves realizing the police are soon to come. Bane breaks Batman's back in the battle and the police shoot down the rest of the inmates, but Bane escapes.
With Batman hurt Dick tries to take care of the city. Crime worsens in the city. One year after batman's accident, he reaturns to fight crime. When he returns the mayor is held hostage. Batman and dick enter the building. Batman defeats Bane, and Hush. Black Mask tries to kill the mayor,but is shoot by a SWAT team sniper. Batman is then cleared of the charges.
In the end Batman thanks dick for his help, but says no to the partenership. Bruce, as a person, rerurns to Gotham as the reconstruction stops. In the final scene Batman is with Gordon by the Bat-signal.Gordon asks who the kid was, and Batman says "Robin, Batman and Robin"Credits role.
So in the end Batman realizes the city will always need Batman. The prdicted run time for Batman 3 is about 3hrs 30mins. My title for this is Batman Crusader.
