I been wanting to put my ideas for a Deadpool movie for some time. I try to keep my casting very original without sounding ridiculous. I look at this casting like if someone looked at a Deadpool movie as serious as the Dark knight was taken. I would not make it a origin story. Deadpool would already be Deadpool and he would be the Deadpool that we all love today. To pay the right kinda homage to the character, I would throw in a lot of characters from the beginning of his career and some new friends as well.
Ben Foster is my Deadpool pick. I know everyone want People's sexiest man but I want to give him a different vibe. Foster I feel is one of the most underrated actors out there, watch all the movies hes done and see how diverse this kid is.
He can play a nut job, a killer and a Funny man. All he needs is the Yellow boxes and he is Deadpool.
I love the Character of Weasel. He is smart and sarcastic, he is Deadpool light.
James Rodey is perfect for Weasel. I wish James did more roles so we could see how brilliant of a comedian he really is.
I wouldn't expect to see Blind Al in the movie much, maybe just a few scenes. That would be enough for us Deadpool fans to lose it in the theaters. I say go big or go home! Put Betty White in here as Blind Al. Betty doesn't look like her but she could deliver those lines just as good or better than the original, plus she is a legend.
In the movie I would have Deadpool looking for Answers from Weapon X. At the same time Weapon X would be looking for him.
Ed Harris, I think is a great quite leader and He would be perfect as the new guy running the reborn Weapon X.
Bob Hoskins would give a great performance as the surgeon who was obsessed with Deadpool and who tinkers with all the other Weapon X rejects like Ajax and Kane
I would have a Weapon X unit hunting after Deadpool through the film. These are the Agents:
I would want Kane to lead this team. I feel like Kane is a man slowly losing himself to his machine parts,kind of like a Darth Vader Syndrome. He is becoming more machine than man. I think Zachary can play a that role and can do it very well.
Ajax would be Killbrew's Answer to Deadpool. He would be put together to fight and Handle Deadpool. I would Make him his Equal. Jason Has the looks and the moves to get this done.
Another one of Weapon X's Agents would be Siryn, but she woule be a double agent who is actually working for Cable's team the Underground. She would be Deadpool's love interest and be able to keep up with Deadpool remarks. Thats why I think Mary has the chops to do so.
Two minor Characters I would like to see is Sluggo and Slay Back. Both these characters have history with Wade and would like to see them brought back to hunt their old Friend. Maybe Slayback would get killed and Come back after wade in a sequel like the circle chase storyline. Sluggo would look good as Sapp and Micheal looks creepy already,so him returning as Slayback would be terrifying.
Once Deadpool Gets to one of Weapon X bases he would run into ....
Bob Agent of Weapon X!. It would be the only way to get him in the movie, figuring they would keep hydra away from this flick. I want Simon Peg and that should be enough said.
While Deadpool is looking for answers,he is also making a big mess.
That's where the Underground comes in
In the early comics Cable Started the Underground to shut down Weapon X. He realizes (sadly) how important Deadpool is and has to have his team try to find him before Weapon X get's to him. He also has Siryn as his double agent within Weapon X.
Cable has to be older yet kick ass, with a bad ass attitude. I wanted a great actor, so I went with Kurt Russell. Check the resume,Snake anyone?
Cable's Right hand and potential main squeeze is Domino. She is a spitfire, yet desirable and one bad ass gunslinger. Sarah has the looks and the toughness to do domino right
