So this is my first fan casting...

Thing here is my first article to put on CBM, so tell me what you think about this.

1. Wonder Woman- Cobie Smulders



Reason: So maybe your wondering why I chose her,I chose her because shes a great actress and in "How I Met Your Mother" shes a bad-ass cause theres one episode she took out a gun and in the said series, she can beat men in anything.

2. Superman- Brandon Routh



Reason: Even though Superman: Returns sucked (for some), he proved do be a good Superman, I mean come on he has the right body size, similar hair, and similar to the late Christopher Reeves (R.I.P), and in "Chuck" he was a leader there so he can be the leader in JLA to.

3. Batman- (None other than) Christian Bale



Reason: Do I even need to give you guys and gals a reason?

4. Aquaman- Ryan McPartlin



Reason: You may know him from "Chuck" as Devon or Captain Awesome, he's a great actor, and he's perfect for the job, he has the build he semi-spiky hair of Aquaman. Plus he has worked with Brandon Routh in "Chuck" and he has an experience in being a superhero in "Super Capers".

5. Martian Manhunter- Phill Moriss



Reason: He is a good actor in "Smallville" and he's a great Martian Manhunter.

6. Green Lantern- Ryan Reynolds



Reason: I just have to say that he looks good as Green Lantern, we have to wait first if the movie is good or not so we can know if he's a good GL.

7. Flash- Chris Pine



Reason: I think we can all agree Chris Pine will be a great Barry Allen. If we can't see him as Green Lantern why not the Flash.

Sorry man, not really diggin it.

ROUTH IS OUT! You guys need to move on.

Even LEEEE777 has, and he was a hardcore Routhboot fan.

Not very creative, I've seen all these choices before except for MM and WW.

Shouldn't this be in Fan-Fic anyway?

@BLADE4040: Actually Tom Welling is a great Clark Kent, I just thought he's too young to be playing Superman with Christian Bale as Batman.

Well you got a nice set of mostly positive comments which is nice for a first try. Here are couple suggestions for future Fancasts.

Most people just pick based on looks. They tend to forget that hair and many other details can change quite a bit depending on the role. The ones that really stand out are those where there are good reasons for the pick. One of the best examples is pointing to roles they have had that are similar to the one you are casting for but there are lesser ones that work too.

Comments like 'I think we can all agree...' are kinda pointless since we rarely all agree on anything.

As far as this cast is concerned I think Routh and Morris are mistakes. Routh because his movie just did not work out and Morris because of Smallville. Mixing TV and movies is not generally a good idea.

Btw, nothing beats Routhy for SUPERMAN, the guy owned it!

Real shame he didn't throw a punch, him and DOOMSDAY on the big screen would've been beyond EPIC!!!
