Emily Blunt has once again been doing the rounds to promote A Quiet Place Part II, and she recently made it clear to Howard Stern that Fantastic Four is not a project she's attached to or particularly interested in.
Fans remain desperate to see her suit up as Sue Storm in Jon Watts' reboot, though, and yesterday, a four-second clip went viral showing the English actress seemingly losing her cool and snapping at an interviewer for asking about the role. The video has since had over 600,000 views, but a longer excerpt reveals that context is indeed key.
Blunt can be seen getting along well with the interviewer and was clearly happy to answer the question. In fact, he was only asking if she's prepared for the backlash that's likely to follow if Emily and husband John Krasinski aren't cast in Fantastic Four, and the answer given is light-hearted (she even calls it "flattering," but admits the whole thing is a "hypothetical" until the phone rings).
It's also worth noting that the conversation took place over a year ago, so anything more we see from Blunt as we get near to A Quiet Place Part II's release is out of date, and unlikely to be relevant, especially after she told Stern that Sue Storm is not a role she's being lined up for just weeks ago.
