Well, we have our cast for Josh Trank's 'The Fantastic Four' and although Jamie Bell isn't confirmed to be in the cast, We're all pretty sure he will is confirmed.

Now from what it looks like, Josh Trank is going with a younger version of The Fantastic Four? i think? I mean Kate Mara looks the age Sue Storm should be, and Michael B. Jordan looks the age that Johnny Storm should be.

But Jamie Bell does not, Jamie Bell looks like a kid who just so happens to be in his mid-twenties.

And Miles Teller by far does not look the right age to play Reed Richards.. Miles Teller might be 27 years old, but he does not look that age i mean look at him.. He still has a baby face.

And hasn't really done an actual serious role, even in (The Spectacular Now) he's not really that serious and the parts that he is, is good.. but he looks like an angry Teenager.. Reed Richards is mature looking, as in attitude and his face

When I think options for that Mature, but smart sort of look, I think these guys..

Reed Richards is supposed to be the most mature, humble smart person in the entire team, But Miles Teller looks like the youngest and probably the most Irresponsible of the group, I mean i am not purposly bashing on the actor because i can, i think he is a good actor but anybody reading this who knows the Fantastic Four, and knows the kind of person that Reed Richards is should really know what i am talking about..

Also, I saw this guy more as the Ben Grimm type for then Jamie Bell..

Now him being bald kind of gives off the last version of Ben Grimm feel but he's actually a good actor and isn't anything like Michael Chiklis ( Michael was Ben Grimm from Fantastic Four 2005 and 2007)

Jamie Bell is a great actor, and he has done a lot of serious roles.. and him being in the film i don't mind. But him playing Ben Grimm i really don't see, Sorry but i don't. I don't mind it, it doesn't bother me anywhere as much as Miles Teller's Reed Richards, but i just don't see it.

Kate Mara i can see it, She wasn't my first choice or anything? but who cares, i can see her doing it and i am actually pretty excited to see how they pull of Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch.

Miles Teller and Kate Mara having a romance together, i also don't see. because of her looking older and more mature and him looking like a successful kid? haha.

Josh Trank is a good director and i trust he knows what he's doing, so lets just see.

COMMENT THOUGHTS!

OVERALL - Whatever they do with the stroyline, and Reed's position in the film, I do not like the fact that Miles Teller is Reed Richards,

Now say it comes out and he does amazing, i never said the film would suck i just don't like the casting and i don't think its smart, Maybe he pulls it off perfectly, that would be cool, but still.

All I ask is that they don't make Reed dance like a fool again.

If they are using the ultimate story for this, then it definantly has the potential to be very good.

If they're using Ultimate than this is completely accurate. In the ultimate comics Johnny is in freaking high school! You don't know what Reed is like in the reboot so you have no legit argument against him. This could be the perfect choice for the reed they're going with. I'm not saying he'll be great, because I don't have a legit reason to say so either, but you don't have that reason as well.

I think if Miles beefs up a little bit and they grey his hair on the sides he may fit the role a little better, just gonna take some work and some getting used to

The studio and the director are trying to make a fresh start and distance itself from the two terrible Fantastic Four films by adapting the Ultimate Fantastic Four hence why the cast is young. I think it's strange and i dont really have anything to say because so far no one has really heard what the synopsis is of the film who the villain is ect. I just think it can work and then it cant.

I just have very little faith in FOX and the director.

Doom for the most part just hates every Marvel movie that doesn't have a sticker on the back that says "Marvel Studios."

But yes, FC was amazing.

"The MCU uses the Ultimate universe (mixed with 616) as reference for their universe and no one hitches, but when Fox uses it everyone flips their shit."

That's because Marvel Studios only took things from the ultimates that were done well. The Hulk doesn't eat people. There wasn't ever any doubt that Thor is from Norse mythology. And they most likely won't have incest between Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Having them all be the same age throws everything off. Reed is supposed to be the aged mature one. Johnny is supposed to be the young hot headed one. Reed should have more life experience than Johnny. Johnny should be able to learn some things about life and the world from Reed.

I'm fine with who they chose for Mr. Fantastic and Sue Storm, they look the part a lot. Jaime Bell as the Thing? I'm not sold and Johnny Storm, well, what can I say, it's going to take some getting used to, but I don't hate it.

I am definitely in the camp of preferring an older, more serious take on Reed Richards. So I've been very concerned about this recent casting news, even considering the Ultimates-inspiration, where they're all relatively young.

That being said, I just saw That Awkward Moment, my first experience with Miles Teller. Not a great film, that one, but I now feel better about Teller as Reed. The script and direction will need to be good, but I believe that Teller can create a good character here, in spite of the admittedly obvious reasons to not think so.

I'm legitimately excited for the cast they have put together. Overly optimistic? Maybe. But it could turn out great.

I simply do not believe you change the integral or inherent characteristics of a character.
