Beau Garrett (Entourage) will play Frankie Raye, a scientist and love interest for Chris Evans' Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, according to Hollywood Reporter.

In the comics, Frankie becomes a herald to Galactus, just as the Silver Surfer was.

Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Evans, Michael Chiklis and Julian McMahon return to their roles in the Tim Story-directed sequel. Shooting is under way in Vancouver.

Andre Braugher has also been cast as an Army general charged with hunting down the Silver Serfer, given movement by Doug Jones.
