It's been claimed (by The Sun newspaper) that the planned reshoot was necessary after producers realised there had been a costly make-up blunder. While the main actors - Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson - were
supposed to look only 19 years older for a scene, they in fact appeared to be in old age.
